Sea World San Diego Summer Nights is a yearly even when the park is opened for longer hours, and nighttime shows are provided to entertain visitors. Basically, there are 6 shows for you to enjoy if you visit the park during the weekends within May 23 to June 7, June 13 to August 30, and September 5 to 7.

If you like watching them during the day, you’ll love watching them during the night. In Ignight, Your favorite dolphins will sing, jump, and splash to the beat as they entertain you amidst a backdrop of colorful pyrotechnic displays. No fake drowning girl here, as this show will feature the best dolphin acrobatics you’ll ever see.

Kids will love the fun and laughter that comes from watching your favorite sea lions: Bonnie and Clyde. During the day, they spoof famous television shows like Survivor and The View. At night, you will continue being entertained by the nonstop spoofs and comedy bits that only Sea Lions Tonite can bring.

Of course, no Sea World experience will be complete without the famous Shamu making an appearance. At night, the killer whale sets out to prove that he not only splashes and soaks you, but that he rocks your world as well. Shamu Rocks, is a once in a lifetime experience you wouldn’t want to miss.

Sea World San Antonio is in a league of its own compared to the ones in Orlando and San Diego. Have you ever gone to Sea World, but find that there is a lack of exciting rides to enjoy? If so, then you have got to go to San Antonio, Texas where the Sea World rides will get you wet and wild.

There are six (6) rides to for you to enjoy in this theme park, and here is a short introduction to each one:

1. Journey to Atlantis

This half roller coaster half water ride is the first of its kind in America. The first part the ride is the dry coaster part, which will propel you 100ft above ground, before you take your final plunge into the lake.

2. The Great White

This 2,500ft inverted roller coaster is made of steel and is the first coaster to be built in a Sea World park. Unlike in the usual roller coaster where you are seated with your feet firmly planted on a solid surface, in the Great White you’re feet are left dangling in mid-air. Get ready to go through twists, turns, and loops of up to 50mph, when you take the ride of your life.

3. Steel Eel

Don’t be fooled by its simple and straightforward design. This ride is a hypercoaster, meaning it’s an incredibly fast stomach-churning ride. You’ll be rushing through the 15ft drop and the numerous humps at speeds of up to 65mph. Now, that’s fast!

4. Shamu Express

Come and bring your kids to Sea World, where they can ride the Shamu Express roller coaster. Don’t worry, because the maximum speed of this ride is only 14mph. Make this ride a part of your kid’s history by making it his or her first roller coaster ride. Kids love to ride it again, and again, and again.

5. Rio Loco

Get wet and wild, with this water ride where you are sure to get soaked. This is a ride for the whole family to enjoy. You are seated in a gigantic lifesaver shaped raft as you splash through river rapids and pass under a waterfall. There is no better way to cool off during a warm summer day.

6. Texas Splashdown

This log flume ride will take you on not only one, but two long drops, making it the longest and tallest of its kind in Texas. Don’t be afraid, your whole family can enjoy this ride, as long as an adult is there to secure the safety of young children. Come, take the plunge! Twice!

Sea World San Antonio is surrounded by many different hotels and motels, the convenience of which highly depends on you; what you need and want to visit and accomplish. Holiday Inn Express is an example of a hotel near Sea World San Antonio which is a great choice of lodging for a number of reasons.

Personally, I always make it a point to make a reservation to Holiday Inn Express whenever a travel, whether business or vacation is coming up and I want to stay at a comfortable and perfect hotel. The location of the hotel is the first thing I love about it. It’s conveniently located so that it’s only a few minutes away from destinations like Sea World San Antonio. You can go back and forth to the hotel and Sea World and you won’t be troubled by it.

Holiday Inn Express near Sea World - highly recommended hotel in San Antonio, Texas

Holiday Inn Express also is reasonably priced. Given its strategic location, it’s a great deal if you get to book a room in it during the peak season. Not only does it provide you a great access to Sea World San Antonio, it only lets you explore the rest of the city within a few hours because of its location.

For me, Holiday Inn Express is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in around the San Antonio, Texas area. There are a lot of cheaper hotels and motels but they don’t give me as much convenience and quality service as Holiday Inn Express in Sea World San Antonio, Texas.
